About The Sands

The Sands will be a stunning new 55 acre leisure and residential development overlooking the North Bay and surrounded by natural woodland. With a miniature railway, amphitheatre, lake, waterpark, holiday accommodation and landscaped parkland, this development provides a superb environment for residents, holiday makers and visitors alike.

The North Bay has a wonderful sandy beach which is loved by all ages. The picturesque Blue Flag bay sees the ruined Medieval Castle standing 150ft up on the headland towards the south and to the north stands the popular Sea Life Centre with large tanks displaying marine life, underground viewing tunnel and hospital for rescued seals.

Inland from the beach, as well as The Sands spectacular new leisure development, is Peasholm Park. The park is alive with natural beauty and wildlife. Autumn bears an array of crisp browns and oranges and in the Spring a variety of vibrant and deep greens really bring the park to life.
